Blog 1 What are your first impressions of the novel? How do you feel about the Igbo culture?Name at least 2 ways their culture is different from ours.Name at least 1 way their culture is similar.Post at least one media element.Explain your answers
My first impressions on the novel was that it was boring. It was a complete waste of my time. I feel that the Igbo culture is very different. They live life completely different from us. Everyone is basically a farmer. They believe in multiple gods and goddesses. Also they do not live in the same home as their families. Like A man can be married to multiple people and yet not live with them. One way that our cultures are similar is that both cultures have town meetings. The people in their cultures and mines both learn. what i mean by learning is that u have to be taught to do things weither its farming, cooking, cleaning, and even going to work.
The first picture represents America. America is made up of more than one culture, many of us are more than one race. The second picture represents the Igbo culture. They all are the same thing they all celebrate the same way.
